| 'I went to the Brandon location last Monday 7/5/10, referred by my regular physician office because there computers were down and they could not see me that day. 1st the receptionist isn't very friendly she doesn't seem happy at all. I didn't see her be friendly or even crack a smile to anyone the 2x's I visited.
2. I had to give my/family history 3x's...Once on forms and 2nd time to nurse who called me back to take vitals, why could she just look at the form I filled out. A 3rd time to the Dr. again did not look at form in my file. I felt this was a big waste of my time and theres.
3. My 1st visit I had a sore throat with white patches. the strep test came back negative . I have had sore throat with white patches before I know it is infection and doesn't clear up without antibiotics. (my 2yr old son had the infection 1st and passed it to me). The Dr did not want to give me antibiotics. She wanted me to come back in 2 days. I explained I do not have a car and had to barrow one to get there and it is not easy sitting in the waiting room and office with a 2yr old. She reluctantly said she'd give me a script but not to fill it to wait 2 days to see if I got better on my own.
Then I had to wait 10min for the nurse to "discharge me" all she did was come in and tell me the same things the Dr told me to do. Another waste of time. I was given a script for 10day amoxicillin.
I did not get better I got worse. I should have went with my gut and treated it before it got worse.
I decided to go back bc I had developed a bad cough and it wasn't getting better even with the antibiotics and I am now 38wks pregnant and want to beat this cough before I go into labor.
The Dr (I don't recall her telling me her name, small woman with dark short hair and a accent). She insisted my cough was from reflux bc I am pregnant. This is where I was sure she is a quack Dr. I am sorry but reflux isn't contagious...I caught the sore throat/cough from my son (I did tell her that but she still said reflux) I know it's contagious because now my husband has caught the same bug. Also reflux doesn't cause a sneezy, runny/stuffy nose. I and my friends and family are just shocked that she would claim it is reflux. I understand reflux can cause a cough my son had reflux/GERD bad as a infant I did a lot of research on it. I do suffer from some reflux being 38wks pregnant tums always fixes the problem. However my throat infection and cough is not reflux!
She told me what foods to avoid for reflux and to not lay flat. I had to wait another 10-15min for the "discharge" nurse to come in and tell me the exact same things. WASTE OF TIME. And I am still coughing.
I will go see a real Dr. now and all my friends and family know what a quack and waste of time this clinic is. I have been told by several people to report this Dr.' |

| 'This clinic was tremendously great!! Super nice staff and extremely caring. I had to drive about 20 miles from South Tampa to go here because my primary doctor was booked and I had to have a release for work. I am on Staywell medicaid and it is hard to find walk-in clinics that accept it. This one did and it was well worth the drive. They were very understanding of the fact that I had to be out quickly for my son's doctor appointment in the afternoon. I would recommend this clinic to everyone!! ' |

'I just found this website while looking where to contact the clinic by email and send them a "thank you" for taking care of my family while we are here from out of town. Four members of our family while visiting here came down sick. They all have been to this clinic based only on recommendations from neighbors. It isn't a fancy clinic, but the service was very good each time we visited. Different doctors on different days, but the same people and faces in the office and nurses too. We honestly did not know what to expect when we went to this clinic, especially being from out of town. We are now reassured of having a doctor when we visit again. Thank you Express Care, and to the nurse with the blonde hair and the P.A. on Monday evening.

'When my husband visited this walk in clinic, he was very sick! They not only helped him PROMPTLY, they were extremely friendly! Since my husband does not have insurance, they offered a self pay discount and even gave him samples of the antibiotics he would need to cut down on out of pocket prescription costs. The doctor was wonderful! We will definitely go there again!
